About The Scheme

The Theodore Channel Irrigation System provides irrigation water to 44 allocation holders covering approximately 3000 ha land located either side of the Dawson River.

The current system includes 2 pump stations , 46 kilometres of channels and pipes, 56 kilometres of drains, 179 off-takes and transports 16,000 megalitres of water.

River allocation and bulk water supply is provided by SunWater with Theodore Water Pty Ltd responsible for the delivery to allocation holders.
